Our Journey

From Dumping Ground to Green Dream

In 2013, Rashid Juma — a former magician turned green activist — gathered unemployed volunteers to clean up a dangerous, crime-ridden dumpsite in Eldorado Park Extension 8. What began with cutting long grass and planting a few flowers became a decade-long transformation.
